Mulching is a great move forward in mowing the grass. When a mulching blade is fitted to a lawn mower the aerodynamics under the deck are changed to keep the grass in the cutting area of the lawn mower for longer. This means the grass getts cut more than just the once resulting in very fine grass clippings. This means that when the grass clippings are left on the lawn they degrade very quickly and feed the lawn. When the grass is cut regularly and kept short a mulching mower allows grass to be cut without collecting and you will not have large amounts of dead grass visable on the lawn.
