Ideal care:
Scarifying is best carried out in the spring at the start of the period of growth and once again in the late autumn. The lawn aerator on the other hand can be used more often, because the interference is not so severe. Comparable to a vigorous raking, the rotating steel tines of the aerator roller scour through the space between the individual lawn plants. This means that excessive formation of thatch is prevented and the lawn remains healthy and vigorous over the entire year.
