The hand guard is also there, which protects the operator in the unlikely event of the chain snapping. A chain-catch ensures the chain cannot jump off of the cutter-rail.

This lightweight saw is well balanced and benefits from highly-effective vibration-damping for superior operator-comfort. It also features automatic chain-oiling; a handy system that keeps the bar and chain constantly lubricated, reducing wear and maximising performance.
