Made in Britain, these feeders and drinkers are efficient, and have been tried and tested over many years. The Eltex drinker is made from heavy gauge sheet steel and is galvanized after manufacture. This means they should last a lifetime - think how many cheap plastic drinkers you could get through in that time!! These drinkers work on a vacuum principle - the water level is maintained in the circular trough at the base. When water is consumed below the outlet, the vacuum is broken & water released until the outlet is covered by the rising water level which again stops the flow into the trough. Easy to fill - if you have ever struggled to re-fit the bottom of a plastic drinker then this is for you!! Child-friendly, there is no mess and no worries when filling these drinkers!
