The Hitachi HICS40EA45SPLD benefits from the Hitachi pure fire engine. Hitachi's innovative 'PureFire' two-stroke engine, produces ultra-low missions without the need for special or additional internal moving parts. Then, in the combustion / exhaust stroke, the exhaust exits through a small catalytic converter in the muffler where the remaining hydrocarbons turn into carbon dioxide. This petrol chainsaw features S-Start for soft and smooth start of recoil, together with a spring type anti-vibration system.
