The original Rotosieve - this is a superb device, well made in the traditional way - tools that last a lifetime! With this little machine you can sieve soil and get excellent smooth, fine results. You can also produce well sieved compost from your own garden products in seconds. Use in pots, or for mulch etc. The remaining debris can be thrown back into your compost for further decomposition.

Instructions for using Rotosieve for Compost Sifting:
1. First make sure the Rotary Soil Sifter is placed over where you need the compost placing or alternatively over a wheelbarrow or some other method of transporting to the desired location. Also that the compost or other matter is not too wet for sifting.
2. Fill the Rotary Soil Sifter half way with compost, fire ash or well rotted manure.
3. Turn the handle until all small particles have been sifted through the mesh base. This can then be used. The remainder of the large particles still in the sift can be returned to the compost pile for further composting and breaking up for future use.

Instructions for using Rotosieve for Weeding:
1. Dig up area that is full of weeds and place weed clumps with soil attached into the drum. Note: Do not fill more than half way.
2. Place the Rotary Soil Sifter over the area you want the soil to fall back on to or over a wheel barrow or some other method of transporting to the desired location.
3. Move the rotary handle back and forth to release the soil from the weeds. The soil will fall through the drum mesh base.
4. The remainder left in the sift drum can be disposed off or composted.
