Recreated from the plans of lawnmowers from a bygone age, this is the Handy Tribute. This is the machine that perfectly fits the demands of TODAY - a large roller hand cylinder mower. This is completely different from any other hand mower on the market today, this machine is tough, well made and features the all important heavy duty rear roller.
This model has a 12" (30cm) cut and a 5 bladed cylinder. The adjustable cutting heights range from 14 to 23.5mm.The large rear roller will give that striped finish popular in the UK. Finally the mower has a generous 18 ltr grass collector. All in all a very good mower indeed.

My first experience of a manual lawn mower was in 1968 when I bought a Qualcast Super Panther with a large roller at the back. This type of lawn mower was ideal for me as I had lots of grass to cut and no electric cable to bother about. Also this type of lawn mower was low maintenance (self-sharpening plus oil points).
I had many trouble-free years of use from this lawn mower, eventually donating it to a neighbour when I moved house 10 years ago. Due to only having a smallish amount of grass at my new house I bought an electric lawn mower which I did not particularly like, however, it did the job, and Qualcast no longer made a manual mower with a large rear roller.
In the spring of 2012 I was made aware of a manual lawn mower with a large rear roller and a 12” cylindrical cutter blade, this lawn mower was called “The Handy Tribute”. This mower had every attribute of a Qualcast Super Panther, but was lighter in weight making it easier for a 70 year old to push.
A weakness of the Qualcast Super Panther was the weld on the handle. The Manufacturer of “The Handy Tribute” has taken this into consideration and included a spare section of handle just in case of an “accident” with the handle.
Full marks for “The Handy Tribute” in this class of lawn mower which has given me everything I had from my Qualcast Super Panther plus more.
Well done “The Handy Tribute”.
