This is the Electric Start version of the Harrier 48. With a 19" cut makes the larger garden a breeze. It is powerful self-propelled, with a Briggs and Stratton engine and a rear roller allowing a striped finish. The handlebars are height adjustable, and the machine is fitted with operator presence control, a mechanism that stops the mower whenever the handlebar is released, keeping you safe at all times. Operator Presence Control safety mechanism incorporated snugly into the handlebar which, when released, stops the mower completely
A cutterbar friction disc is fitted which protects the engine crankshaft from bending. This disc is unique to Hayter and limits impact damage should you accidentally hit a solid object and thereby qualifies for a lifetime guarantee against engine crankshaft bending
