What is the LUBA 2 AWD series Warranty and Repair Services?
The main parts of the lawn mower and battery are covered under a 3-year warranty. Please note that the external components, i.e., (Charging Station and RTK Antenna) are under a 3-year warranty while blades and tires do not have warranty.
Does the RTK Reference Station need to be connected to the charging station?
RTK base station does not need to be connected to the charging station. You can put the charging station anywhere you want! If you want to install RTK station on the roof, you will need to have a separate power adapter and extension cord to power RTK reference station.
Does the entire area need to have a WiFi signal, or can it complete its work once it receives commands near its charging base and then return to charge?
Once the mission is set, it can carry out the entire workflow even without WiFi. The WiFi is intended to assist you in checking the status of LUBA and receiving messages remotely on your cell phone.
How do I install Luba?
You can easily perform the installation yourself. A quick start guide will be included in the box, and you can also find Video Tutorial link on this page.
What if my front and back garden are separated by a fence?
Luba can manage multiple zones. If there is a path between these two gardens, Luba can travel to the second garden and perform the work automatically.
Can the App be used remotely, for example when I am not at home?
With Mammotion App, you can remotely preset and update the mowing parameters for each zone, as well as check Luba’s status in real-time.

In spite of superficially attractive technical specifications, this (Luba 2AWD - 10,000) device is at the upper end of the market. Its biggest weakness though, is the appalling technical support provided by Mammotion - which is at the level of "Switch it off and on again". This "support" can result in hours of wasted time and days waiting for any sort of substantive answer - if one ever arrives at all. In fact, though shipped with embedded 4G technology (essential for an area of the 2½ acres/1 Ha it is rated for), Mammotion were eventually found to be blocking the device at their server in Europe - but it was not until weeks and many hours of diagnostic sleuthing at my end that this was discovered. Not everyone has access to the forensic diagnostics I had to undertake to reveal where this issue was arising from! Eventual patronising apologies *still* didn't lead them to switching off the block, and without 4G the robot was more out of contact than in, so the whole kit was returned to the dealer. To be fair, none of this was Mower-Magic's fault - they were let down by a very poor supplier, and they responded perfectly honourably when it became clear that this unit was not fit for purpose. A word of warning about the 4WD configuration! Although this sounds very attractive, it does mean that the Robot is not very manoeuvrable - having to shunt backwards and forwards to turn around at the end of a mowing line. Not only is this a slow process compared to 3-wheeled mowers which turn on a sixpence, it also leads to churn-up of the ground is all soft, and can lead to the robot getting stuck.
