How To Identify Your Machine

When buying parts for your lawnmower (or any other piece of garden machinery) it’s important to correctly identify your machine. We’ve put together this quick guide to help you find the right information. Simply click the brand below to see the information needed to find the parts for your tool.

Machine Parts vs Engine Parts
On mowers and other large machinery (generally fitted with 4-stroke engines), the engines are often manufactured by a different company to the chassis of the mower. For example, Briggs & Stratton don't make a mower, only engines; their engines will be fitted to many different brands of mower.
If you need parts for an engine, you'll need to find the engine codes. If you are looking for parts for the main mower, then you need to look for the codes on the deck / chassis. If you mower has an own brand engine then the main details should be enough.

For handheld machinery, the engines are usually manufactured by the same company as the tool so there won't be any separate details. In these cases, the details of the main machine will be enough.
