Mountfield began manufacturing rotary lawnmowers at premises in Maidenhead in 1962; the modern, high specification machines of today bear little resemblance to their ancestors but all share a common ethos of quality and value for money - which has helped to make Mountfield one of the leading lawnmower manufacturers for over 50 years.
Innovation, performance and value for money - Mountfield have maintained their position as one of the UK’s leading lawnmower manufacturers by continually developing new products. Their investment and innovation ensures that the Mountfield Brand offer the best combination of performance and value for money. In recent years new products have launched, such as best-selling garden tractors, lawn riders, roller mowers and a range of class-leading 48 and 80-volt cordless garden tools, as well as advanced premium mowers with hybrid chassis technology and a unique Twinclip blade.
