BBC Gardeners' World magazine has awarded its "Best Buy" Awards to the Webb 30cm Autoset sidewheel WEH30 lawnmower.
From Webb, this is a 30cm / 12in side wheel push mower with Autoset tool free height adjustment. The Webb H30 has a good quality plastic rear roller. This is a low-maintenance, eco friendly alternative to powered lawn mowers and you will get a free workout with every cut! The H30 also has a small footprint, enabling it to be stored or transported easily in between mowing periods.
The Webb H30 cylinder lawnmower has a cutting blade that can be set to one of four heights - the lowest being a very tidy 10mm, and and the highest is 40mm for a more bouncy carpet feel. The Webb lets you achieve the desired result on your lawn, while the rear roller enables a striped finish for that classic look. The H30 is supplied with a front mounting 18 litre grass collection container and includes a two year warranty.
From top British brand Webb, the WEH30 Side-Wheel Hand-Mower combines an ultra-compact 30cm cut with a straightforward hand-push design to make it a great choice if you're looking after a small lawn in a noise-sensitive area. It comes with a front-mounted catcher, so you won't have to rake-up clippings; and it offers four preset cutting-heights for the creation of a 'just so' finish. Weighs just 9.1kg.
Built to Webb's usual exacting standards, this simple but effective hand-push cylinder-mower is aimed at gardeners seeking a hassle-free and environmentally-sound way to maintain a small grassed-area. Its lack of petrol-engine or electric motor makes it a great choice if you're living in a noise-sensitive urban area; while the absence of a power-cord gives you unrestricted freedom to move around your garden.
Thanks to its classic cylinder-type design, whereby the blades cut with a precise scissor-like action, the Webb WEH30 won't tear and bruise the grass, as is often the case with rotary-action mowers. It's supplied with a forward-positioned grass-collector (17-litres) that eliminates the need for post-mowing raking; and it features simple tool-free cutting-height selection from the four positions available (a lowest setting of just 10mm means a super-neat finish can be achieved).
The unique Autoset cylinder on this model means there's no need to manually adjust the blade - it simply adjusts itself! A working-width of just 30cm makes it easy to manoeuvre and easy to store.
Backed by a lengthy two-year manufacturer's warranty.
